The Visionaries

branding, layout design, typography

The Visionaries is a creative artist management agency with offices in Los Angeles, New York and London. I was in charge of rebranding a content creation guide for their artists to follow that was better in line with the brand and their image. The following guide was shared digitally with The Visionaries clients and those they partner with.

On The Visionaries website there are lots of bright and bold colors associated with the artists work. Because of this, I felt like a bold color scheme would be cohesive to the brand ideals. When creating the layout I made sure to consider the client's wishes as well as accessibility standards. Initially, I wanted to use a simple black background for each page because of how eye-catching it was with the color scheme. However, I quickly realized that using a black background with pink and red text could make it difficult for those with color blindness to read. Because of this, I chose to alternate between a black and white background so that I could still incorporate the colors into the text. Due to the content of the guide, there wasn't a need for many illustrative aspects. However, my Creative Director and I ultimately decided that using the sleek lines of color from the cover throughout would be the best way to keep the guide simple and bold.
